District 37- Time To Vote
For the next several weeks, every member of the every Local Lodge under District 37 will need to vote for a Directing Business Agent/ District President during your Local Lodge Meeting. This will require an organized voting protocol and everyone should have by this time been informed of the event. For Further instruction or information contact your Local Lodge Officers.

The Passing of Brother AB Green
Auvis Bradley "A. B." Green passed away Sunday night, November 18, 2012, at
a local nursing home. He was born August 13, 1925, in Cass County, Texas to
John H. and Annie May (Milner) Green. Mr. Green was a member
of First Baptist Church in Jacinto City and a retired machinist with the
Machinist Local #12. He worked for American Can Company for ten years and also
served as the Directing Business Agent for District 37 of the International
Association of Machinists. Mr. Green was a member of the Masons and loved politics,
woodworking, and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Verna June Green; and one brother, Leo Green. He is survived by sons, John Green and wife, Myrna, of Houston, and Steve Green and wife, Terrie, of Baytown; grandchildren, Stephanie Yaryan, Tiffanie Qaisar, Kristen Diamond, and John Paul Green; great grandchildren, Farah and Zane Qaisar and Jonathan and Amy Yaryan; and many other friends and family members.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, November 21, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, November 23, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels, with Rev. Rick Blunt officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park. For those desiring, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 10701 Wiggins, Jacinto City, TX 77029.
The thoughts and Prayers of a grateful Machinist Union go out to the Family and Friends of this Man, a true contributer to his cause, Our cause, that of the working public. He will truely be missed.
